The Rusty Wall outside the Brawler’s workshop was painted using a mix of Tamiya Acrilic Paints diluited with Rubbing Alchol to mantain a slower drying time.
For the rust and the paint chipping on the outside i used a mix of Antiskid, Spread Rust and Rust Bubbles Flowering all from the True Earth products set.
The wall was then washed with several hands of oil colours thinned with turpetine, to simulate dirt streaks and shadows.
Time to start the work on the set. After realizing the wall (Build a plaster wall) i’m building a wall jib crane, after found a lot of pics on a crane producers site (http://www.abuscranes.co.uk/).
The crane is made out of 0.7mm styrene sheets, glued with cyanoacrylate gel glue and tamiya green cap glue…
Build your own wall, a 30 minutes procedure to build high (this one is 25cm tall) plaster walls, for 1/35 scale scene.
This one will be lay down on the Brawler workshop scene (more here: The Brawler).
